The question worth answering first

Do you keep a month-end snapshot of every loan account, and since when? Everything cohort-based on this site — vintage curves, static pools, roll rates — needs history that was frozen at the time and kept. Many loan systems hold only the current status and overwrite it nightly. If that is your situation it is worth knowing early, because establishing snapshot discipline becomes the first piece of work rather than something discovered halfway through.
